Hey everyone- Here's my first idea for a business system. It's not very refined yet, but I was going for a refined, sophisticated color palette and shapes using earthy colors. Feel free to post any comments.
Using the dark brown band works well with the green of the logo. From the print version the brown looks too dark but the screen view is not so bad.
Placing the logo and band combination in the lower or upper left of your pieces is really stable and fits with your business concept. This works better than the green bar from the other option. It gives it a base where the other option doesn't have enough visual weight to support all of the text.
Is your text dark brown or black? If it is black then the visual weight issue is more evident. The text also feels large for the page. Maybe bringing it down a point size or two would fix that. The light typeface you chose suggests the sophisticated, slightly more upscale style of B.Green too.
